In the fall semester of 2020 I was a design intern at POLYWOOD Inc. working on their design team. We were tasked with designing the future of POLYWOOD, their Designer Series. This series would become their high end portfolio of products that would elevate the brand to the next level.
This was an exciting time to be at POLYWOOD, creativity was encouraged and pushed. The exploration of concepts was mapped out to a ten year time line ranging from what could be possible now to what could be possible in the future.

the next 10 years...
We evaluated all of our collective sketches and chose the concepts we saw repeated or ones we found interesting to continue on with. Since we were looking at 10 years we also organized them into different categories ranging from classic to modern styles. Once certain concepts were picked out each of us continued on with one, with a modern lounge set being the concept I continued with.
